Paco, I'm kinneywhat on Playstation Network.
I have Bad Company 2. It's different than MW2, but I like it. Oddly enough, I have the same kill/.death ratio in both games. I have a lot of unnecessary deaths in BC2 though. I'm sure that'll get a little better as I play more.
BC2 is a little more team oriented. You can drive vehicles too. Plus, leveling is actually rewarding and makes you feel significantly more powerfull, but also takes a lot longer. I have like 8 hours played and I'm only level 5. After 8 hours on MW2 I was like level 20.

| Just wondering, anybody here use Raptr? Just thought I would toss it out there since this program makes it easier to keep up with each other across multiple platforms. I made a short post about what it is here too.

I started Final Fantasy 13 last night..... you may see me on at raid time here and there, but outside of that, don't expect to see me until I'm done with this. It's simply amazing and looks visually ridiculous. Great game so far. I'm only about 3 hours into it, but it keeps getting better and better. I really just got to the part where the game "starts". I believe it's chapter 3.
It's a great game so far. It's like an interactive movie.

| I have to say, that it has the best visual's in a game to where it allmost does not even look like a game. Plus the story is amazing, Combat system could be a bit better but it gets better later in the game.

| You might as well get a PS3 and play with us. Really, for $300, it's pretty much a steal. Any xbox360 only games always come out for PC as well, so you can just buy a corded xbox360 controller, plug it into a PC and play it the same way.

| It generally makes me a very angry panda, but as long as I'm not getting farmed in Oddball or in Ranked matches I'm having fun. I only did ranked stuff to r10 because that's the required for Leutenant I think, so I won't have to go back there for a long time.

I use to play a lot of Halo 3 about 2 years ago. I had fun for a few months, then stopped. Modern Warfare 2 was fun for a few months as well. I might go back sometime. It's Bad Company 2 time now though. I'm level 9 in online (takes way longer to level than MW2) and I'm about 1/3 of the way through the campaign. I only play campaign when EA's servers aren't cooperating with me.
I'm gonna play a LOT of FF13 this weekend..... and hopefully solve my computer problems.

It's an online shooter with a leveling/unlock system similar to MW2. It's much harder to level and they take longer. However, there are only like 30 levels and leveling feels MUCH more rewarding, as you actually gain significant advantages when you level. You also level roles (Medic, Engineer, Assault, Recon) seperately by using them, which unlocks specific guns and abilities for those roles. I prefer the leveling system in BC2. You don't have the e-peen factor like in MW2 of prestiging and whatnot, but like I said, when you level, it feels a lot more rewarding. In 12 hours played in MW2, I was over level 20. In 12 hours played in BC2, I'm level 8.
BC2 is definitely more strategic. ALthough it's 12v12 and 16v16 games, a group of 4 organized people can do REALLY well and turn a whole match. IT's definitely more team oriented. In MW2, you could have one really awesome person on your team and win most of the time. That's not the case here. It's pace is also odd. Sometimes I feel like it's much slower than MW2, sometimes I feel like it's a heck of a lot faster. If you get a good hiding spot, you can stay there a long time, but as soon as someone sees you, your ass better move because people can mark you and you show up on the other team's mini-map. The big difference is destructable environments and being able to drive tanks, choppers, UAV's, etc. I love gunning people down in the tank, and with a good pilot, you can really be a menace as a gunner in a chopper.
It's definitely worth playing if you liked MW2. It'll take you 5-6 hours online to get adjusted, but once you do, it's great. I'm not going to say it's better or worse than MW2, it's just different. I've got about 2 hours into the campaign and about 13 hours logged online so far. I think I've heard the campaign is roughly 6-7 hours, which is about the same as MW2. Haha, I think I had almost 5 days played online with MW2, so I've got a ways to go on BC2 to match that.

Personally, my current gaming schedule looks something like this.....
Primary objective ---> Final Fantasy 13 (7 hours in, about 33 to go)
Raid at least once a week on Kambodian (Thursdays and maybe Wednesdays?)
Throw in some Bad Company 2 here and there to keep skills up and play with friends.
Mass Effect 2 for PC a couple times a week until it's finished.
Finish GoW1 soon, try to find time to start 2, and then after FF13 and ME2, think about starting GoW3.
That should keep me more than busy for about 4-6 weeks.

What I like about the campaign is, when they're not spoofing MW2, they're more often than not trying to directly one-up MW2 by having similar sequences, hehe. I hope the 3rd one's story rolls out more like the 1st game's though, if just to reintroduce some of the characters and themes!
